Fruit Maturing on Trees
Update
Today’s farm walk was done in peak summer conditions, with the temperature soaring to around 39°C. The orchard is dry and hot, but the mangoes are still holding well on the trees and continuing their natural maturity journey. We are closely watching the weather, fruit firmness, and overall tree condition before deciding the harvest window. As always, we will not rush the plucking just to meet a date.
Why this matters
High summer heat plays an important role in how Dudhiya Malda matures, but the fruit still needs the right time on the tree to develop its aroma, sweetness and texture naturally. This is why we wait instead of early plucking or artificial ripening.
