Completed40°C afternoon in the orchards
The Bihar summer is at full intensity now, with temperatures touching 40°C as Dudhiya Malda continues maturing naturally on the trees.
Fruit Maturing on Trees
Update
Today’s farm walk happened during peak afternoon heat, with temperatures reaching nearly 40°C across the orchards. The trees are carrying healthy green Dudhiya Malda clusters, still slowly maturing under the Bihar summer sun. Even in this intense heat, the fruit is holding well on the branches and continuing its natural maturity journey. We are closely observing fruit firmness, aroma development and overall tree condition before deciding the harvest window. The orchards are beginning to feel like peak summer now — the kind of afternoons many of us remember from old Bihar vacations and mango season days.
Why this matters
Dudhiya Malda develops its signature sweetness, aroma and texture gradually on the tree during the peak summer weeks. This is why we wait for natural maturity instead of harvesting early or artificially ripening the fruit later.
